Education:
    • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance
    • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
  • Masters Degree, in Finance/Accounting or Chartered Accountancy qualification would be an added advantage

  • At least 7 years

  • At least 7 years’ experience in Finance, including 3 years in management position

  • Has sound knowledge about financial planning and analysis

  • Has experience in financial accounting and control

  • Can establish financial compliance

  • Leading and inspiring others

  • Experience working in a large-scale Emergency Finance Context

  • Experience of working in an INGO

  • Able to lead and has managed a team of at least 5 people

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing & speaking)

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • High level of competency in Word and Excel

The Opportunity

  • The Manager-Finance is the focal person for the Cox`s Bazar Area office. The role is a key contact point between the Cox Bazar development & response team, Ukhiya, and the Country Office. The person is expected to be familiar with financial data and be comfortable in presenting data points to other stakeholders. He or she will have the flexibility to introduce new ideas or ways of working as deemed necessary. In the event of a major humanitarian and development program emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
