Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant
∎ Skills Required: Expert in MS advance excel, SAP or other renowned ERP
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounts, Finance/ Accounts, VAT and Tax
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Beverage, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Restaurant, Retail Store
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of financial statements and reporting pack as per IND AS and local Bangladesh GAAP
∎ Ensure timely closure of books on a quarterly/monthly basis.
∎ Ensuring non-qualified statutory reports & internal audits submission before the timeline (zero critical audit observations) related to finance function.
∎ Oversee all AP/AR-related reconciliations, month-end/year-end provisions, and check for aberrations and settlement.
∎ Review of GRIR/ payable and old outstanding balances on monthly basis.
∎ Ensure depreciation run /capitalization/ review of fixed assets on a monthly basis
∎ Ensure timely update of leases in Lease on and correct lease accounting and review of monthly lease payments.
∎ Coordinate with internal auditors and external auditors.
∎ Review of monthly VAT returns and challans.
∎ Review income tax returns and monthly TDS calculations and ensure timely payment of taxes.
∎ Coordinate and liaison with tax authorities
∎ Responsible to look after the banking, import-related documents and procedures, VAT, AIT, Customs, etc.
∎ Prepare cash flow and liaison with banks for funding and payments
∎ Regular review of bank reconciliations and LC margin reconciliations
∎ Timely royalty remittance to India and clearance of old dues
