Job Responsibilities:
∎ Completing various activities and overseeing the department in relation to preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
∎ Monitoring daily accounting & financial activities with a professional skepticism and ensuring supporting documents of transactions are recorded accurately and properly prepared
∎ Checking and monitoring the accuracy of monthly bank reconciliation, Sales Invoices against A/R reconciliation (Collection & Credit monitoring of customers) and Payable Invoices against A/P reconciliation (Payment & Credit monitoring of vendors)
∎ Monitoring and signing of the accuracy of Receipts and Payments, Cash Book, Ledger and other registers related to record keeping for Finance and Accounts
∎ Need to be able to operate ERP software (optional: Training will be given)
∎ Have to prepare reporting documents, under the supervision of Finance and Accounts Manager in a timely manner
∎ Handling and ensuring compliance with Tax & VAT related activities in relation to sales and purchases
∎ Submitting management reports and filing yearly returns, VAT and any other compliance related issues
∎ Training junior staff on accounting, VAT, preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Proficient in Microsoft office (Specially in MS Excel)
∎ Excellent communication skill (written & spoken) both in Bengali & English
∎ Must have IT literacy and experience of maintaining financial software
∎ Must have the ability to deliver work under pressure
∎ Familiar with operating ERP software (Preferable)
∎ Job location will be in Nawabpur Road, Dhaka
