JOB PURPOSE
Manage field operations of all UDP-IRP-Health interventions/projects at field level ensuring smooth implementation in alignment with UDP priorities, objectives and goals; ensure all operational milestones are achieved; manage the field operation budget; guide and mentor supervisee staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operationalise all of UDP’s activities - including donor-funded projects like IRP-Health project intervention for 2021-2025 ensuring development and programme wide implementation of a sound knowledge management framework.
Collaborate with City Corporation/Municipality, other relevant stakeholders, BRAC Health programme (BHP) and other programme to establish standards for smooth implementation of IRP-Health interventions.
Manage field operations budget ensuring all expenditures are done according to approved budget and take appropriate measures if non-budgeted expenditures are required at field level.
Ensure the consideration of cross cutting areas such as gender, protection, DRR and sustainability within all Health interventions, also considering the importance of integration with other sectors such as WASH and BHP.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual progress report, IRP-Health project budget, annual budget, FD-6, revised FD-6, checking burn rate and ensuring Target vs achievement etc.
Work closely with program support functions (logistics, HR and finance departments) for Health program supplies and activities planning working with field teams and logistics to procure project supplies within the project budget.
Responsible to verify and update all financial and administrative recording and proceedings at head office level including updating all files and registers; checking the bill/voucher; account checks for miscounting and audit compliance etc.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
