Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. At least 05 years, among which 02 years in managerial position in Import. Sound track record in FMCG (Food Industries). (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries is a must, preferably in food industries.
∎ 2. Must have knowledge in L/C, Tax/VAT, Custom and Excise duty;
∎ 3. Capable in planning, organizing, prioritizing and coordinating work in a fast-changing environment;
∎ 4. Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills;
∎ 5. Strong analytical and communication ability;
∎ 6. Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data;
∎ 7. Must have good computer application skills (Bengali and English.)
∎ 8. Good Skill in English;
∎ 9. Able to work independently and under pressure;
∎ 10. Should be self-driven, result oriented, hardworking;
∎ 11. High level of professional integrity.

∎ 13. Good Skills on any product/ consumer principal Manufacturer find out and smoothly communicate

∎ 16. Practical works Experience on any product Export & Import policy, Customs and C&F communication I mean Bill of leading to Bill of Entry Independently control .
∎ 17. Excellent knowledge on VAT, TAX and HS Code Product Wise.
∎ 18. Procurement of various goods (Food item, Industrial Machinery, Spare Parts) from international markets and local markets as well;
∎ 19. Sourcing out capable reputed supplier(s) towards ensuring effective procurement of quality materials with competitive price by way of effective negotiation;
∎ 20. Follow- up and supervision of necessary jobs in Banks related to L/C opening, release of shipping documents and payment of import bills;
∎ 21. Identify appropriate HS codes for customs tariff schedule compliance;
∎ 22. Deriving out total cost (landed cost) of each foreign procurement on the basis of involvement of duty, taxes etc. so that a comparison could be made if procured from local source;
∎ 23. Skillfully negotiate and ensure legal compliance in contract agreements;
∎ 24. Finalize negotiation, prepare comparative statement for all items and arrange approval from management to procure on time;
∎ 25. Scrutinize shipping documents to prevent discrepancies after shipment;
∎ 26. Mapping vendors into High, Medium and Low risk category to prioritize for sourcing;
∎ 27. Maintain an extensive database for all orders that is up to date and provides information for analysis and reporting Management Authority.
