Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • CA partly qualified (1200+ Marks) will be given preference.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the RMG sector.

  • Knowledge of Accounting Standard, Income Tax Act & Ordinance.

  • Deep understanding of financial procedures, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.



Responsibilities & Context:

Monthly Performance Reporting:

  • Collect and verify monthly sales figures, cost of materials, staff salaries, worker wages, and operating expenses.

  • Ensure accuracy in subcontracting and insurance expenses for financial reporting.

  • Prepare comprehensive KPI reports for production and merchandising.

  • Compile profit calculations, comparing actual, target, and projected figures.

  • Convert financial reports from BDT to USD for international reporting.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Work with merchandising, production, and finance teams to prepare the semi-annual spending budget.

  • Conduct bi-monthly cash flow forecasting, ensuring accurate projections for inflows and outflows.

  • Forecast operating expenses, loan payments, tax obligations, and investment decisions.

Financial Data Management & Compliance:

  • Manage ERQ account status reports, ensuring bank statements are updated weekly.

  • Oversee outstanding payment tracking, coordinating with finance teams on disbursements.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.

  • Liaise with banks and auditors to support financial reviews and external audits.

  • Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams (HR, Planning, Marketing, Production) and external stakeholders (Banks, Audit Firms).
