Responsibilities & Context:
  • Developing and implementing the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with business goals

  • Identifying new market opportunities and potential clients to expand revenue streams

  • Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to shape business decisions

  • Collaborating with senior management to forecast sales and develop pricing strategies

  • Overseeing preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts, tenders, and agreements

  • Ensuring all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management frameworks

  • Managing bid proposals and ensure competitive and profitable pricing submissions

  • Monitoring contract performance and address commercial or operational issues promptly

  • Developing budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with finance and operations teams

  • Tracking and analyzinh commercial performance metrics such as margins, costs, and profitability

  • Ensuring accurate billing, credit control, and payment collections

  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners

  • Acting as a key point of contact for commercial negotiations and dispute resolution

  • Coordinating with internal departments (sales, finance, legal, operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project execution

  • Ensuring adherence to corporate governance, trade laws, and industry regulations

  • Identifying and mitigate commercial risks associated with projects, clients, or markets

  • Maintaining proper documentation and audit trails for all commercial transactions

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the commercial team to achieve performance targets

  • Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
