Responsibilities & Context:
Developing and implementing the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with business goals
Identifying new market opportunities and potential clients to expand revenue streams
Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to shape business decisions
Collaborating with senior management to forecast sales and develop pricing strategies
Overseeing preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts, tenders, and agreements
Ensuring all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management frameworks
Managing bid proposals and ensure competitive and profitable pricing submissions
Monitoring contract performance and address commercial or operational issues promptly
Developing budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with finance and operations teams
Tracking and analyzinh commercial performance metrics such as margins, costs, and profitability
Ensuring accurate billing, credit control, and payment collections
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners
Acting as a key point of contact for commercial negotiations and dispute resolution
Coordinating with internal departments (sales, finance, legal, operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project execution
Ensuring adherence to corporate governance, trade laws, and industry regulations
Identifying and mitigate commercial risks associated with projects, clients, or markets
Maintaining proper documentation and audit trails for all commercial transactions
Leading, mentoring, and developing the commercial team to achieve performance targets
Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
