Responsibilities & Context:
- Commercial Strategy & Business Development: Develop and implement commercial strategies help to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's market presence.
- Bond & Customs Management: Oversee all activities related to the bonded warehouse, ensuring full compliance with customs, excise and VAT regulations (e.g., NBR/Customs in Bangladesh). This includes managing bond licenses, customs audits, bond audits, declarations, inventory follow-up and ensuring accurate documentation for all processes.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of commercial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability. Monitor sales performance and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Operations & Logistics: Supervise the entire lifecycle of goods within the bonded warehouse, from receiving and storage to movement and dispatch. Ensure all processes are efficient, secure, and compliant.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities (like customs), suppliers, customers, and internal departments (e.g., finance, logistics).
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the commercial and warehouse teams, providing training, setting performance goals, and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Market Analysis: Help to conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement. Stay updated on changes in regulations and market trends.
