Experience:

• 5 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Clearing and Forwarding (C and F) Companies, Freight forwarding

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Business, Management, or Logistics preferred)

• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Transportation will be considered an added advantage

• Candidates with a Diploma in Logistics & Transport .

• Strong academic background with practical knowledge in transport operations, port procedures, and customs processes is highly desirable.

Transport Division Leadership

• Lead, manage, and supervise the full Transport Division under C&F operations

• Ensure effective fleet utilization (company vehicles & hired trucks/covered vans)

• Plan, coordinate, and execute daily transport schedules for on-time delivery

• Monitor and manage a large team (drivers, helpers, supervisors, coordinators)

C&F & Port Coordination

• Coordinate with the C&F team for cargo movement after customs/port clearance

• Maintain communication with port officials, customs brokers, warehouse teams, and clients

• Manage container/trailer movement, gate-pass collection, and dispatch operations

• Verify all clearance, delivery orders, and shipment documents before transport

Operational Control & Monitoring

• Track vehicle movement and delivery status in real time

• Ensure proper documentation including trip sheets, fuel logs, mileage reports, and dispatch records

• Ensure all vehicles comply with BRTA rules, port regulations, and company policies

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport operation reports

Cost Management & Vendor Handling

• Control transport-related expenses and ensure cost-efficient operations

• Negotiate rates with transport vendors, truck owners, and logistics service providers

• Verify transport bills, challans, and vendor invoices

• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, and fitness compliance

Quality, Safety & Service Excellence

• Ensure safe handling and secure movement of goods during transit

• Implement and monitor safety protocols for fleet and staff

• Resolve operational challenges promptly and efficiently

• Maintain high customer service standards and ensure full client satisfaction
