Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context
The Manager – Breeder & Hatchery will be responsible for overall breeder farm and hatchery operations, ensuring productivity, bio-security, quality standards, and cost control in line with company policy and budget.
Job Location: Rangpur Area
Job Responsibilities
Ensure implementation of SOPs through regular farm visits and audits
Supervise breeder farm and hatchery operations ensuring bird health, body weight, and bio-security standards
Monitor vaccination, medication schedules, QA checks, and hygiene in coordination with Micro Lab
Control production cost of chicks and ensure hatching production as per budget
Plan and manage sales of rejected eggs, cull birds, scrap/gunny bags, and litter as per budget
Monitor feed, medicine, and disinfectant inventory, including expiry and quantity
Lead planning, budgeting, policy development, and new project/infrastructure activities
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and bio-security requirements
Develop, motivate, and retain high-potential team members
