Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manager - Awards with a direct report to Head of Awards, will be mainly responsible for ensuring quality award management systems and key controls are in place to support effective management of the funding portfolio as well as donor compliance. S/he will basically coordinate the award management process and provide technical assistance for donor reporting to ensure high quality and on time delivery. The position will also maintain effective communications with members/donors to facilitate and support the process of developing and submitting necessary amendments and budget realignments as well as long term partnership.
∎ This role will work collaboratively with other departments of the RR program to ensure effective and efficient development and management of programme awards and contracts under this response program. S/he is also expected to support program point to understand Award Agreement, budget and key deliverables, preparation of agreement synopsis and compliance. Ensure adherence on budget vs actual analysis is another major task of this position. S/he will also facilitate Award Donor Specific audits and ensure kick off meeting for the stakeholders and responsible for all record keeping, document update and tracking the awards.
∎ The role also includes the responsibility of coaching staff in their award management professional development and as a successor of the award team. Responsible to carry out inductions, identify need and organize external training for staff and provide ongoing coaching to Officers for award management procedures, reporting, donor requirements, and coordination within the response and larger Save the Children structure.
∎ The position has line management responsibility and expects to work outside the normal role profile and considering the emergency nature of this program.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' working experience in grants/award management/ business development/ donor communications in a national or international organization along with 3 years' management experience; prior experience in emergency response/humanitarian context will get preference
∎ Proven track record of working with multi donors as well as sound knowledge on key requirements of donors in terms of humanitarian context
∎ Excellent planning, management and coordination skills along with proven track record of supporting senior management team through providing strategic support across multiple sectors and/or regions
∎ The ideal candidate should have excellent planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organize a workload comprised of varying and changing tasks and responsibilities
∎ Ability to work in a challenging environment, maintain a positive team dynamic, excellent interpersonal communication skill both in English and Bengali and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are other pre-requisites
∎ Experience working with funding from major institutional donors, particularly UN agencies (UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP and IOM) will be an advantage
∎ Considering quality experience education may relaxed
