Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting and Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance
∎ CA/FCA/ACCA will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, Manufacturing, Manufacturing and Quality, Manufacturing Industry, Public Listed Company
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare financial statements, costing, budgeting, profit-loss, balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows, etc., ensure proper implementation of financial policies and procedures at the strategic level, and monitor banking activities of the organization.
∎ Prepare Master budget and foresee the collective control on it, monitoring Financial Risk Assessment, fixing up arrangements of working capital.
∎ Maintaining Cash book, bank book, General ledger, subsidiary ledger, and another required registers.
∎ Preparing VAT & TAX, Internal Controls, Risk Management, and Strategic Planning Functions & Audits. Attending tax authorities for assessments and appeals, overseeing Tax & VAT audit reports. Look after monthly and yearly return submission, hearing, and assessment finalization VAT & TAX authority.
∎ Prepare daily receipts and payment vouchers journal vouchers of project-related expenses.
∎ Prepare staff salary sheets of assigned projects and respective pay slips.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge of ISA, IAS, IFRS, SEC Rules & Regulations, and local laws and regulations.
∎ Work closely with the commercial department. Good knowledge of import/export, LC, EDF, Packing Credit(PC), PAD, etc.
∎ Organizing board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs), preparing agendas and taking minutes, complying with all rules & regulations as per the requirement of BSEC, DSE, and CSE, and submitting monthly share reports to them.
∎ Work with external or internal auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
∎ Handle accounting software in Excel sheet, ERP, and Tally independently.
∎ Any other assignment is given by the Management from time to time.
∎ Must be able to work independently and capable of managing multiple audit teams.
∎ Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
∎ Strong communication skills both in English and Bangla.
