Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform routine maintenance on quilting machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
∎ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with quilting equipment.
∎ Conduct thorough inspections of quilting machines to identify any worn or damaged parts.
∎ Collaborate with production staff to address any operational concerns related to quilting machines.
∎ Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
∎ Notify concerned department for necessary parts & supplies procurement as & when required
∎ Stay updated on advancements in quilting machine technology and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.
∎ Maintain KPI, Dashboard, SOP & all office Document of Sewing maintenance.
∎ Ensure cost control through improvement in machine utilisation and efficiency.
∎ Notify concerned department for necessary parts & supplies procurement as & when required
∎ Expand and improve the scope of 6S – Sort, Straighten, Sweep, Standardize, Sustain, Safety.
∎ Adherence to compliance for buyer followed religiously (Electrical Safety, Housekeeping, Fire safety, free yellow lines, use of PPE, Accurate record keeping.
