Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma in Business Studies in logistics

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Logistics Management

Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a logistic Officer you will :
∎ Be responsible of the PHC supply chain
∎ Meet the requirements of the Programs / bases in term of procurement.
∎ Guarantee the respect of Terre des hommes procurement procedures.
∎ Link with Primary Health Care Medicine Store Keeper and Site Logistic Supervisor.
∎ In charge of the preparation of the donor/internal audit
∎ Manage the Office and Guest house Security guard system.
∎ Manage the PHC related upgrades & eventual new construction follow up.
∎ Manage the team under your responsibilities.
∎ MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Procurement, with the compliance
∎ Ensure the TDH and donors procurement rules are respected.
∎ Evaluates and negotiate contracts with vendors (prices, delivery time, payment terms)
∎ Preparation of contracts before seeking approval of the Logistics Manager.
∎ Ensure that Procurement follow up is initiated, maintained and updated.
∎ Initiate and develop supplier database.
∎ Verify the consignment is well arrived at the final destination and collect the documentation to settle the payment accordingly.
∎ Ensure the adequate filling of purchases files: signatures, presence and validity of the documents, in order to guarantee
∎ accurate tractability of all purchases throughout the supply chain.
∎ Fill the PSR follow up
∎ Responsible to manage Office/Guesthouse security Guard.
∎ FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:
∎ Coordinate with Logistics Manager and Logistic Assistant on fleet realated issues.
∎ STOCK MANAGEMENT:
∎ Responsible and focal point for the coordination with the PHC Store Keeper and/or PHC Logistic Site Supervisor.
∎ Monitor the storage facilities and infrastructure both from inside and outside: locate damages and propose the necessary repairs
∎ Supervise cleaning and regular disinfection of all Tdh storage facilities
∎ Ensure adequate ventilation of the spaces
∎ Regularly monitor the quality of products during storage. Pay special attention to expiration dates
∎ Monitor incoming and outgoing equipment
∎ Maintain updated inventory lists
∎ Participate in monthly stored goods and equipment inventories and reconciliation with what should be in stock
∎ Draft or complete dispatch and receipt documents in compliance with Tdh standards
∎ Collect, compile and send monthly store reports to the Logistic Manager
∎ AUDIT & MANAGEMENT:
∎ Prepare the internal and external audit
∎ Other clerical or administrative work needed to run the archive.
∎ Human resources and team management
∎ Organize and supervising the work of his department.
∎ Leading and organizing weekly team meetings.
∎ Organize the circulation of information within his team.
∎ Implement regular meetings and training with the purchaser(s) regarding purchase policy
∎ Participate to the training of his team by accompanying individuals in their work
∎ Participate with the Logistics Manager to the appraisal of the team
∎ OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Accept other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager
∎ Sent on monthly basis the Procurement and service follow up to the Logistics Manager
∎ Sent on monthly basis the PHC Stock report to the Logistics Manager
∎ Send on Monthly basis the fleet management follow up report.

∎ Accept other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager
∎ Sent on monthly basis the Procurement and service follow up to the Logistics Coordinator
∎ Sent on monthly basis the asset report to the Logistics Coordinator.
∎ Excellent computer skills with MS Office (Excel in particular), MS Word and Outlook
∎ Strong organizational and management skills
∎ Time sensitive
∎ Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
∎ Ability to communicate
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality
∎ Ability to handle workload pressure and deadlines.
∎ Agree to comply with Tdh Code of Conduct and promote Child Safeguarding policy, Policy on the Protection Against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and the Policy on (Sexual) Harassment and Abuse of Authority.
∎ Report serious cases of abuse on children that she/he would be aware of in Tdh's intervention locations. Strict confidentiality must be respected.
∎ Adhere to and enforce current administrative and logistical regulations and procedures.
∎ Tdh intervenes without any affiliation for politics, religion or financial profit. He/she will direct his or her activities and engagements without preoccupation of political, racial or religious affiliation.

Salary: Tk. 39750 (Monthly)
