Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Hotel Management
∎ Diploma in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food preparation, hygiene, and safety, food handling procedures, and following written instructions.
∎ Must be able to read and understand in English and Bengali.
∎ Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
∎ Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
∎ Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
∎ Restock all items as needed throughout the shift.
∎ Clean and maintain station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills.
∎ Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
∎ Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
∎ Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Head Chef, Sous Chef or Floor Manager at any time.
∎ To appropriately delegate and assist in all tasks delegated within the section
∎ To accurately carry out instructions received by line manager during service
∎ To accurately and calmly give instructions to junior staff during service and assist if necessary in the completion of the instructions
∎ Ability to take direction.
∎ Ability to work in a team environment.
∎ Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
∎ Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized.
∎ Should be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 kgs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Demonstrate good knife skills.
∎ Show interest and knowledge of flavor and food products.
∎ Show good practice in working hygienically around food.
∎ Attention to detail.
∎ Possess basic math skills.
