Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Architecture (M.Arch)
∎ The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's & Master's degree in relevant fields of the mentioned departments above & having a minimum CGPA of 3.50 or a First Class on an equivalent degree in a respective discipline from a recognized university/institution may apply for consideration. The candidates shall have first divisions or at least a GPA of 4.50 out of 5.00 in both SSC & HSC and O-Level & A-Level.
∎ At least one degree, especially a Master's degree, must be from a foreign university, preferably from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia or a dual degree from Europe.

Job Context:
∎ Departments/Faculties: Faculty of Engineering, Teaching & Built Environment (FETBE)
∎ As a Lecturer, you are expected to have expertise in related subjects in order to teach students. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical demonstrations, fieldwork and e-learning. You`ll also pursue your own research to contribute to the wider research activities of your Department or University.
∎ JOB LOCATION: 26 Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare the course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial and practical classes, extension teaching, related research and cooperative field experience.
∎ To prepare questions, invigilate tests & exams, marks & grade scripts and assignments.
∎ To guide and supervise project work, internship, dissertation or thesis as and when assigned.
∎ To guide and supervise students to perform co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
∎ Attend meetings of the University as and when invited.
∎ Work as "Faculty Representative" at different events and activities of the University when detailed.
∎ Provide assistance in different activities of the University when called upon to do so.
∎ Carry out administrative tasks initiated by the teacher himself/herself or assigned by the Department, Faculty or the University or under the instruction of the Top Authority.
∎ To monitor and report on the implementation of the Strategic policy plan for respective schools.
∎ To ensure academic discipline and standards as well as report on other matters including the student affairs of UCSI University Bangladesh and perform responsibilities as per the private university Act of 2010.
∎ To teach courses in the designated subject area and to assess students' progress by grading papers, tests and other work.
∎ To conduct research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field.
∎ To serve on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies, make budget decisions, or advise on hiring and promotions within their department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates must have at least 1 Scopus publication.
∎ Must have at least 1-year of teaching experience.
