  • Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience in an English-medium school.

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in an academic leadership position.

  • Experience working with the Cambridge Curriculum is mandatory.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong command of spoken and written English.

  • Sound knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment, and teacher performance management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology.

  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Summary

  • Guidance International School (GIS) is seeking a visionary and experienced Vice Principal to provide strategic academic and administrative leadership. Reporting to the Head of School, the successful candidate will drive excellence in teaching and learning, ensure the effective implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum, support faculty development, and foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor curriculum implementation, teaching quality, and student achievement.

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teachers to ensure continuous professional growth.

  • Ensure effective implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum and academic policies.

  • Develop academic calendars, timetables, assessments, and school improvement plans.

  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, faculty, and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate teacher training and professional development initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with school policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of School.
