Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE:
∎ Lead, Graphics Designer, is responsible for overseeing all creative products/material produced by the Design Team.
∎ Providing creative direction to all creative products/materials produced by the Design Team.
∎ Design and develop communications materials for the programmes and campaigns adhering to BRAC`s Global Brand Positioning Guidelines.
∎ Ensure the design and drive the strategic brand communications and campaigns.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and formulate creative concepts to create original design contents for programme communication, campaign, social media and other strategic priorities of BRAC in-house or in collaboration with communication partners.
∎ Oversee all tasks, delegate projects among other team members and ensure the quality work is being delivered within the given deadline.
∎ Work in collaboration with colleagues across the broader Communications team, programmes and support departments of BRAC, and be the point of contact for the design team.
∎ Ensure that the delivered products or services adhere to the guidelines and standards of BRAC
∎ develop and execute branding related plans and initiatives that support the short and long-term strategies of BRAC.
∎ Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas and revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team.
∎ Directing and motivating teams to help them use their talents most effectively and efficiently.
∎ Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.
Additional Requirements:
∎ People centricity, accountability, ability to drive vision and purpose.
∎ High situational adaptability, collaborative, action oriented.
∎ Effective decision making and communication skills.
∎ Experience in non-profit branding/ creative communications.
∎ Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
∎ Marketing, graphic design and brand development, different types of materials, knowledge about vendors and printers
∎ Empathetic attitude, takes ownership, agility, good in relationship building, excellence in execution.
∎ Minimum 8 years experience in relevant field is required.
