Assignment Overview
The selected firm/agency will conduct a mixed-methods needs assessment to identify professional development challenges, skills gaps, systemic barriers, and opportunity pathways for youth aged 23–32 in governance, leadership, and policy advocacy. The findings will inform the design of the NexGen Graduate Fellowship Programme.
Key Responsibilities
Inception report
Conduct literature review on youth governance and leadership
Conduct online survey with 500+ youth respondents
Conduct 6 Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)
Conduct 15–20 In-Depth Interviews (IDIs)
Map potential partner institutions
Prepare comprehensive draft needs assessment report
Organize and facilitate validation workshop and report
Submit final need assessment report with all datasets, transcripts, and documentation

50% upon approval of inception report and tools
50% upon approval of final deliverables
