∎ Age 24 to 30 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for washing, drying, ironing and folding all hotel linen on the laundry.
∎ Sort the laundry items according to material and color etc.
∎ Assist in the loading and unloading of dryers and sort out
∎ Operates and maintains all equipment such as washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, folding equipment, presser and iron etc.
∎ To maintain cleanliness in designated working area
∎ Responsible for picking up and delivery of in house guest laundry.
∎ Ensure that guest name, room number and laundry pieces are listed.
∎ Responsible for delivering all guest items punctually, accurately and in a professional and courteous way.
∎ Count and verify all items collected as per Laundry Lists signed by the guest and note down any discrepancy or damages on the same sheet.
∎ Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues.
∎ Report immediately to the superiors in case any belongs or valuable items like cash, jewelers, credit cards etc. found in garments pockets.
∎ Assist in inventories and attend all departmental training as informed and scheduled by the manager.
∎ Keep linen storage area clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
∎ Update and record all linens (Fresh and Soiled).
∎ Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
∎ Take initiative to add personalized service to the guest.
∎ Return and properly tag all the Lost and Found articles in the housekeeping office
∎ Follow departmental policies and procedures and also the service standards.
∎ Report necessary maintenance items.
∎ Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
∎ Perform any additional tasks, as requested by the superior.
