Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Linguistics, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Bengali, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Anthropology, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology
∎ Good interpersonal communication skill and command over English and Bangla-both in written.
∎ Research works in ethnic studies; language documentation will be added advantage.
∎ Experience in Filedsworks (SIL), ELAN software implementation will be added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position will be responsible for planning and research on language related data especially, ethnic languages of Bangladesh.
∎ Coordinate linguistic data collection, processing and distributing task.
∎ Prepare phonological chart; audio annotation and transcription manual.
∎ Train associate linguists/field data collector as per project goal.
∎ Prepare research reports and technical documents;
∎ Coordinate several events (seminar, workshop, community acceptance, data collection etc) through visiting the different locations of Bangladesh.
