Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Reports to: Head of Programs
∎ Nature of Job: Full time Level: Mid-level
∎ Project duration: 8 months with possibility of extension Staff reporting: N/A
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Though this position is based in Dhaka, but need to frequently travel to remote areas of Bangladesh and project location..
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday with 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some overtime hours to attend external meetings.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor, or country office from time to time.
∎ Following of ICCO HR, Admin and Finance related policies strictly.
∎ IV. Key Contact:
∎ PNGO, Head of Programs, Sn. Communication & Business Development Manager, PMEL Colleagues, Finance Manager, HR & Admin and Finance departments of ICCO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility 1: Knowledge Management
∎ Work with the partner organization and project team to document these analyses and lessons learnt from implementation in the field
∎ Write the successes and failures stories and share them with other clusters and other projects
∎ Assist the communities to document (and preserve) and present their activities to each other and outsiders
∎ Generate, sharing, updating and documenting the learning and best practices of the project
∎ Disseminate the learning and best practices to the wider audiences both in-organization (with different projects) and out-organizations
∎ Contribute to and improve the execution of continual knowledge feedback processes, including knowledge dissemination strategy.
∎ Promote knowledge generation and sharing with stakeholders and partners.
∎ Ensure reflective and intelligent information is effectively communicated for improvement of project processes
∎ Capturing and overseeing regular lessons learned and success stories (including Change Stories) from targeted areas for internal and external sharing (including to Communications Team).
∎ Orient, train and facilitate on KM processes to wider team members, including other PMEL staff to improve own critical capacity.
∎ Responsibility 2: Innovation
∎ Innovate and generate new ideas in relation to ICCO's thematic areas particularly health related interventions through research, field visit, secondary sources.
∎ Share the new ideas to the stakeholders and staff members
∎ Assist to develop the new and innovative concept note for the attraction of the donors
∎ Committed to the upholding of strongest research practices, and championing the best execution of pre-existing assessments/methodologies
∎ Leverage Monitoring tools (especially ICT based) for smart tracking/surveillance and area-wise performance monitoring on key health practices
∎ Think systemically in building assessments that can be reported in-line with key operational activities
∎ Build the capacity of the team on larger understanding around Innovation
∎ Responsibility 3: Programme output monitoring and progress reporting
∎ Development of a system for programme output monitoring and progress reporting tools
∎ Establish a Monitoring Information System (MIS) in order to generate monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
∎ Development of tools to monitor customer satisfaction with various aspects of the ICCO's project
∎ Maintain oversight of project ICT monitoring platform and overview regular updates of the project activities
∎ Ensure quality assurance and checks are maintained throughout the project's activities, as well as in research/regular monitoring.
∎ Responsibility 4: Staff capacity building, assist to develop project proposals/concept note, etc
∎ Develop the capacity of the partner organization's and ICCO's staff through on the job training, coaching and field visits.
∎ Closely work with fundraising team to develop the concept and proposals for raising the funds of the organization.
∎ Responsibilities 5 : Compliance and reporting
∎ Ensure grant compliance with ICCO's management information systems; monitoring and learning practices at country level; and evaluation policy.
∎ Ensure tracking and meeting deadlines for donor reporting

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting of research, knowledge management, Innovation and monitoring and evaluation systems.
∎ Professional research experience, or strong background of multi-disciplinary academic research in related or transferable skill areas. This should include both qualitative and quantitative research.
∎ Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English and Bengali
∎ IT Proficiency: Microsoft Excel proficiency, use of Google-Drive/One-Drive is a must for this role
∎ Practical experience of digital tools for data analysis and monitoring
∎ Excellent interpersonal communications skills and willingness to immerse within a multicultural team
∎ Demonstrable lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities
∎ Strong report writing capabilities, and able to condense information from multiple sources to a relatable format.
∎ Experience in developing concept notes/proposals, ToCs and Logframes.
