JSK Group is hiring some experience professionals like Commis Chef/ Dishwasher for international Luxury Coffee Shop.

Key Responsibilities (Commis Chef):

• Food prep: Wash, peel, chop, and cut fruits and vegetables; season meats.

• Ingredient management: Accurately measure and weigh ingredients for recipes.

• Station support: Help plate dishes, prepare basic salads or sauces, and stock workstations.

• Cleanliness: Sanitize workstations, wash utensils, and dispose of expired food following safety codes.

• Inventory: Receive deliveries, check food quality, rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out), and report shortages.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Certification: Valid food handler's license or basic food safety award.

• Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy items up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

• Skills: Basic knife handling, attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities (Dish Washer):

• Washing and Sanitizing: Scrape, sort, and wash dishes, glassware, and silverware using commercial machines or by hand. Wash large pots and delicate items manually.

• Kitchen Upkeep: Keep the dish pit and surrounding areas clean, organized, and dry. Sweep and mop floors, empty trash cans, and clean waste receptacles.

• Stocking and Storing: Return clean dishes and cookware to their proper storage spots or serving stations.

• General Support: Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep, restock supplies, or help unload food deliveries as needed.

Requirements and Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours. Comfortable working in a hot, damp, and fast-paced environment.

• Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality, especially during busy peak service hours.

• Safety Knowledge: Adherence to health, sanitation, and food safety guidelines. No formal education or prior experience is usually required.
