Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for 5 Junior Accountants to join our Bangladesh team.

In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting tasks, assist in financial documentation, and collaborate with the Global Finance & Accounts team. You will work closely with senior accountants and the CFO to ensure compliance, accuracy, and smooth accounting operations across Bangladesh.

This position is ideal for individuals early in their accounting careers, eager to learn modern cloud-based finance tools, and motivated to build a long-term career in a global tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations

• Support audits and financial reviews

Monthly & Annual Closing

• Assist in monthly closing activities

• Support preparation of financial statements and reporting documentation

Financial Compliance & Support

• Ensure all accounting activities follow financial regulations and internal policies

• Assist in coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors

• Maintain proper filing and digital documentation of all financial records

Finance Tools & Systems

• Work with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) for accounting documentation.

• Support data entry and financial updates into cloud-based systems (e.g., NetSuite, Kintone, or internal tools used by the global finance team)

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of digital records.

Operational Support

• Assist in expense reimbursements and petty cash management

• Support the senior accountant and management with periodic reporting

• Provide administrative support for finance-related tasks

Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

• Good communication skills in English (reading/writing)

• Willingness to learn modern accounting systems and new technologies

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in a tech startup or multinational company

• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems (NetSuite, Kintone, QuickBooks, or similar)

• Knowledge of IFRS or international accounting standards

• Interest in AI, digital platforms, and emerging technologies
