  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering will be given preference.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.

  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, maintenance reports).

  • Willingness to work in shift duty, if required.



Responsibilities & Context:

Quality Feeds Limited is seeking a competent and proactive Jr. Officer / Officer – Mechanical Engineer to support factory operations through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical equipment. The role involves ensuring smooth production, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.

  • Ensure smooth operation of boilers, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, mixers, and production machinery.

  • Identify mechanical faults and take prompt corrective actions to reduce downtime.

  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.

  • Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, job cards, and spare parts records.

  • Coordinate with production teams to support uninterrupted factory operations.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, factory rules, and maintenance SOPs.

  • Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Support energy efficiency and preventive maintenance planning.

  • Supervise technicians and mechanics during maintenance activities when required.

  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for repair, fabrication, and spare parts procurement.

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
