Education:
    • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Bengali, or any relevant discipline (Talented candidates/students with exceptional presentation skills are welcome to apply).

  • 1 to 2 years of on-screen presentation experience in TV or digital media is preferred (Freshers with relevant training may apply).

  • Certification or formal training in News Presentation from a recognized institute is an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • Night Shift is MANDATORY.

  • Roster/shift-based schedule (including late-night coverage, weekends, and holidays as required).

  • Flawless Bengali pronunciation, standard diction, and strong English reading ability (প্রমিত উচ্চারণ ও বাচনভঙ্গি).

  • Pleasing on-screen personality, presentable appearance, and professional grooming.

  • Sharp editorial sense and ability to handle unscripted breaking news situations calmly.

  • Strong news awareness and general knowledge across politics, economy, and global events.



Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Organize and prioritize news stories to ensure the most compelling and high-impact pieces are presented first.

  2. Present live and recorded news bulletins, special reports, and breaking updates with confidence and professional composure.

  3. Research and stay updated on local, national, and international current affairs.

  4. Meet with the news director, reporters, and newsroom team for daily rundown briefings.

  5. Revise, edit, and fine-tune scripts prior to going on-air to ensure smooth delivery.

  6. Introduce on-scene correspondents, coordinate live handoffs, and ask relevant follow-up questions.

  7. Interview studio guests, experts, and key individuals involved in specific news stories.

  8. Strictly comply with journalistic ethics, standard editorial guidelines, and the moral code of the profession.

  9. Handle teleprompters, in-ear audio feeds, and technical floor cues smoothly during live broadcasts.
