Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in job placement, employer engagement, career counselling, recruitment, TVET, employment services, or related programmes.

Additional Requirements

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.

• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital communication tools.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments.

• Willingness to travel to field locations as required.

• Commitment to safeguarding, PSEA, Child Protection and Code of Conduct policies.

Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a people’s entered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 422 upazilas under 56 districts of Bangladesh covering over 15 million poor and vulnerable people.

The JOB CIRCULAR will support ESDO`s skills development and livelihood interventions by contributing to effective programmed implementation, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, documentation, monitoring, and achievement of programmed results. The position will work closely with relevant ESDO teams, field staff, technical personnel, employers, Master Craft Persons (MCPs), training providers and other stakeholders as required.

Reporting to: Assistant Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with employers and relevant industries.

• Facilitate job matching and placement of ALP graduates.

• Organize employer engagement activities, recruitment events and job fairs.

• Provide career guidance and employment-readiness support.

• Track placement, retention and employment outcomes.

• Identify employment opportunities relevant to green and sustainable occupations.

Workplace: Office and field based; frequent field visits within Bagerhat and other project locations as required.

• As per project allocation and organizational policy.
