Responsibilities & Context:
Position Location: BAIUST, Cumilla
Subject Areas: ICT Wing
BAIUST solicits applications for the post of IT Technician under the ICT Wing. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Provide technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues, Install, configure, and update software application required.
Assist in maintaining the university’s network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, LAN.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and update software applications required for academic and administrative use.
Maintain inventory records of IT assets such as computers and networking devices.
Assist in upgrading and replacing outdated hardware components.
CCTV installation & maintenance (DVR/NVR).
Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned by Network Engineer.
