- Master’s degree in CS, IT, Cyber Security or related filed is preferable.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with network security, firewalls, intrusion detection, and IT infrastructure.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Security, Network Security, or Cybersecurity operations in any Bank.
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
- Proficiency in IT security tools, systems, and protocols.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex security issues independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with IT and business teams.
- Knowledge of central bank IT guidelines and cybersecurity regulations.
Responsibilities & Context: A Leading Private Commercial Bank is looking for an experienced IT professional to join as IT Security Officer.
Employment Status: Permanent (Officer to EO)
Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and standards across the bank.
Monitor and maintain IT security systems to protect the bank’s data, network, and digital infrastructure.
Identify, assess, and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents in a timely manner.
Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
Assist in configuring and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus, and other security tools.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure deployment of IT projects and system upgrades.
Provide technical support and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
Keep up-to-date with emerging cyber threats, security technologies, and regulatory requirements.
