• Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Plan for technology upgrades, scalability, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
• Manage networks, servers, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and uptime meet organizational needs.
• Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Conduct regular IT audits and risk assessments.
• Implement cybersecurity strategies and frameworks.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents or breaches and
• Conduct employee cybersecurity awareness training.
• Prepare and manage the IT department’s budget.
• Optimize costs through vendor negotiations and technology investments.
• Oversee helpdesk operations and ensure efficient issue resolution.
• Lead IT projects from concept to implementation (e.g., ERP, CRM, or software deployments).
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
• Ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Evaluate third-party solutions and negotiate contracts.
• Manage relationships with IT service providers, software vendors, and consultants.
