Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, International / Global Business, Economic Diplomacy, or other related fields.
∎ At least 12-15 years of proven, relevant work experience in marketing, promotion, and/or business development with demonstrated knowledge of market assessment, strategy development, and/or promotion techniques.
∎ Experience in the private sector development related consultancy works aimed at investment promotion.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali having strong command in promotional and marketing speeches to attract the audience.
∎ Proven skills in using MS Office tools in graphic and digital presentation (PowerPoint, Excel)
∎ Efficient presenter in the business and investors’ community through structured speeches and ex-tempo speeches

∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in reviewing of consistency within the industrial policies of Bangladesh.
∎ Facilitate efficient channels for promoting FDI in Bangladesh EZs by reviewing and analyzing policies, incentives, and locational/geographical characteristics of targeted EZ
∎ Perform extensive research and analysis to align investment and FDI promotion efforts with national policies and regulations.
∎ Develop and implement effective Investment Promotion and Aftercare strategies that cater to the unique needs of the target economic zones.
∎ Implement institutional capacity building programs for the management and investment promotion for the Economic Zones and Industrial Parks
∎ Develop various promotional tools to be utilized during national/international webinars, roadshows, seminars and other promotional programs
∎ Prepare SOPs for promotional activities, proposing amendments and additional rules and regulations of FDI promotion and support in the preparation of the Investment Guidebook
∎ Communicate with stakeholders/investors, support by providing information.
∎ Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, development partners, business associations and potential investors, through effective communication and relationship-building skills
∎ Support other teams and conducting auxiliary tasks assigned by Team Leader
∎ Prepare periodic reports and activity plans and sector profiles to attract new investments
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Basic understanding of Bangladesh’s economic policies and investment system, with a broad perspective on how the entire system operates and how public, private, and informal actors operate within the system.
∎ Experience in creating and/or managing the production of written publications (articles, press releases, etc.), developing strategies and relations, and preparing promotional materials.
∎ Language proficiency in Japanese, Arabic and Mandarin is highly valued.
∎ Excellent computer, analytical, and data-gathering skills.
∎ Highly facilitative and collaborative leadership style.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
∎ A strong set of personal values including integrity, honesty, and desire to be of service.
