Job Responsibilities:
∎ Investment Analyst is an entry-level position in the organization and will work directly with investment team of the company and will be responsible for assisting Investment Committee for making investment decision. Investment Analyst should report to the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of the company.
∎ The successful applicant is expected to:
∎ Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
∎ Conduct macroeconomic and industry research and recommend investment plan & ideas to the investment committee
∎ Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities
∎ Conduct fundamental and Technical analysis on listed companies to identify their investment potential
∎ Prepare financial forecasting and develop complex financial models
∎ Liaise with fund managers and network with industry professionals
∎ Ensure regulatory compliance with BSEC, DSE, CSE, CDBL and the listed companies regarding investment
∎ Ensure proper external and internal reporting at regular interval
Additional Requirements:
∎ Early career professionals (1-2 years of experience)/Freshers are strongly encouraged to apply.
∎ Strong interpersonal communication skills to maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers;
∎ Adequate knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and guidelines of Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, and other relevant authorities
∎ Conceptual understanding of different kinds of existing capital market and banking products and solutions
∎ Self-propelled, ability to work in a team and capability to meet agreed on deadlines
∎ Good command over Microsoft Office software package
