Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop annual internal audit plans based on risk assessments and management priorities.
∎ Conduct operational, financial, compliance, and system audits across business units and projects.
∎ Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and recommend improvements.
∎ Review financial records, vouchers, bills, procurement, inventory, payroll, and expenditure reports.
∎ Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
∎ Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting key findings and suggesting corrective actions.
∎ Collaborate with department heads to implement risk-mitigation strategies and control improvements.
∎ Perform follow-up audits to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified issues.
∎ Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
∎ Maintain confidentiality and ensure high standards of integrity in all audit activities.
