Additional Requirements:
  • Age 28 to 45 years

Education: MBA in Accounting or equivalent.CA(CC) or partly qualified candidates are highly preferred. 5–7 years’ experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to transport, shipping or logistics operations. Candidates with industry experience will be preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting software (SAP, Tally or similar) and MS Excel. Practical knowledge of taxation, VAT, SEC rules and banking procedures. Excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills in English. Demonstrated ability to lead a small accounting team, exercise discretion and make sound judgments under pressure.



Responsibilities & Context:

Prepare and review weekly, monthly and annual financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Cash Flow statements; analyze variances and trends.

 Reconcile bank accounts, cash book and dealer accounts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and resolve discrepancies promptly.

 Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities for the division and group.

 Supervise and mentor accounting staff; set annual goals, monitor performance and support professional development.

 Maintain accounting records for transport, shipping and logistics operations; ensure accurate cost allocation and revenue recognition.

 Prepare bank correspondence (LCs, guarantees, inquiries) and manage relationships with banks.

 Ensure compliance with taxation, VAT, SEC and banking regulations and support statutory reporting and audits.

 Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and management reporting as required by the CFO/COO.
