Responsibilities & Context:
SEAF Bangladesh Ventures (SEAF BV) is an investment management company that invests in medium-sized businesses in Bangladesh. The company partners with entrepreneurs to provide business assistance and customized financial solutions. SEAF BV is a subsidiary of the US-based fund manager SEAF (www.seaf.com), with SEAF having completed over 430 investments across more than 30 countries.
SEAF BV is looking for Interns for three (3) months. The intern will assist in the research, investment management, ESG reporting, and exit of debt and equity investments of SEAF.
Responsibilities:
• Provide due diligence support including review of financial, operational, and industry/market information.
• Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment proposal and monitoring preparation for the SEAF Global Investment Committee (GIC).
• Active portfolio monitoring, tracking financial and operational performance of investee companies
• Reporting support: preparing periodic investor reports, fund updates, and performance summaries to LPs.
• Assisting the team with exit process, valuation updates, and buyer/investor outreach coordination
• Field visits and primary/secondary data collection for diverse industries and companies
• Legal reviews, transaction execution and logistical coordination
• Assist the management as per organizational requirements.
Requirements:
• Minimum bachelor's degree in finance/economics/accounting, candidates with completed coursework and pending of internship semester are also encouraged to apply.
• At least 80% marks/CGPA 3.20.
Remuneration: BDT 10,000/month
