Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Should be a graduate from Statistics, International Relations, Economics, Development Studies, Political Science, Peace and Conflict Studies, Sociology, Mass Communication and Journalism, or other related social science department from any reputed university

Job Context:
∎ Founded in 2004 and ramping up operations to become a full-fledged Think Tank by 2016, the Centre for Governance Studies strives to address the challenges for Bangladesh in coping with the rapidly changing national and global scenarios. The Centre aims at facilitating collaborative efforts among the academic community, government, private sector, civil society and development partners to improve the quality of governance, address the security needs of Bangladesh, foster the conditions for efficient and prudent utilization of available resources towards poverty reduction, human resource development, and stabilization of political and social order through increased democratization, participation and sustainable economic growth
∎ Centre for Governance Studies (CGS) is seeking to hire Interns to join its running projects. Research/Program interns will support the development and execution of multiple projects of CGS.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The applicant must be interested in research
∎ Applicant should be updated with latest developments in the areas of national and regional security and geo-politics, political and economic governance, and contemporary social issues.
∎ Applicant will have to work in different running projects of CGS. The responsibilities include but not limited to- writing reports and proposals, data entry, organizing events, data collection etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 27 years
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
∎ General knowledge in Data Analysis and Visualization will get preference
∎ Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
