Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall Manage and Support to IPT groups at the Upazilas and SCC level for Disseminating Key SBC messages Successfully through IPT Show;
∎ Ensure effective theatre performance through theatre group formation, development of stories considering children and adolescent rights, problem etc.
∎ Organize and Facilitate IPT Workshop and produce Drama/Interactive Popular Theatre as per the project’s needs and objectives
∎ Provide effective leadership and management to the IPT groups, ensuring the successful implementation of IPT show within the selective areas;
∎ Offer comprehensive support to IPT group members to disseminating SBC key messages;
∎ Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with relevant Government of Bangladesh (GoB) sectors, Local Government Institutions (LGIs), NGOs, religious leaders, and other stakeholders;
∎ Coordinate with UNICEF focal person, line departments, and upazila administration to ensure effective implementation of IPT shows;
∎ Compile and submit Upazila and district-wise reports in accordance with the project plan and within specified timelines to the PC;
∎ Manage and support IPT groups within the budget framework, promptly communicating any deviations to the PC and preparing adjustments as needed;
∎ Act as a representative of the SBC team, participating in various meetings, workshops, and seminars in accordance with the guidance provided by the PC;
∎ Conduct regular field visits within working areas, providing necessary technical support and ensuring the quality implementation of interventions;
∎ Preparing monthly plan, ensuring timely submission and alignment with project goals;
∎ Develop and document case studies, success stories, and failure stories as required, highlighting key project outcomes and lessons learned;
∎ Coordinate and participate in various day observances, both national and international, related to SBC project;
∎ Support to Upazila Coordinators to arrange events in the community;
∎ Assist in monitoring the budget support the expenditures stay within budgetary guidelines as per the event plan;
∎ Inventories and requisitions supply and equipment; recommends the purchase of new equipment;
∎ Reports to the line manager on a regular basis to give an update on artistic activity and the impact of interactive theatre;
