Minimum 1 year teaching experience in agricultural diploma Institute/College/School as instructor/lecturer/teacher/equivalent or higher position will be privileged

Strong capability to handle situation and maintain discipline in the classroom

Meticulously evaluate each semester’s academic syllabus and craft comprehensive teaching modules and lectures tailored for effective classroom delivery
Facilitate dynamic, hands-on instruction that empowers students through real-world agricultural and agro-industrial applications
Ensure the course curriculum up-to-date aligned with agricultural field and agro-industrial standards
Design and administer a systematic program of continuous assessments including quizzes, presentations, assignments, and mid-term examinations consistent with the Controller of Examination’s schedule
Serve as an internal and/or external examiner for final board examinations, embodying institutional trust and academic rigor
Rigorously evaluate all forms of student assessments and compile accurate results, maintaining high standards of transparency and record integrity
Maintain a thorough and updated understanding of admission protocols, diploma curriculum structure, and grading schemes as defined by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (Probidhan, 2018)
Vigilantly track official updates whether through print or online sources circulated by BTEB to ensure institutional compliance and informed instruction
Drive outreach initiatives such as seminars, consultations, and promotional campaigns aimed at raising the institute’s profile and recruiting prospective students
Actively participate in seminars, symposia, workshops, and training sessions to enrich pedagogical acumen and stay abreast of sector-wide advancements
Assume responsibility for diverse institutional functions lab oversight, farm management, library coordination, student hostel administration, and stewardship of sports, cultural events, and national day celebrations
Foster a vibrant campus life by taking hands-on roles that extend beyond the classroom, nurturing students’ all-round development
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
