Experience:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering in a relevant field such as Mechanical or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology from any BTEB-approved Polytechnic Institute.
Maximum 40 years (may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates).
The deserving candidate should have completed Level 2 of the NSDA Certified on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) course and have 3 years of experience as an instructor at a reputed Technical Education Centre.
Location: MSS Technical School (MTS), Kamarpukur, Saidpur, Nilphamari.
Strong knowledge of BTEB syllabus, NSDA standards, and CBT&A methodology.Hands-on experience with electrical tools, machinery, and workshop safety practices.
Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
Ability to prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and maintain academic documentation independently·
Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email correspondence.
Ability to motivate and guide students, with counseling skills for career development.
Willingness to arrange and participate in industrial visits, practical training, and assessments.
Ability to train, mentor, and support junior teachers.Commitment to institutional policies, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Job Summary:
The Instructor- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, in line with the BTEB syllabus and institutional guidelines. The role includes preparing instructional materials, conducting assessments, facilitating industrial attachments, and maintaining accurate academic records. The instructor will also support student admission processes, provide counseling to reduce dropouts, and coordinate with relevant authorities for examinations and certifications. Additionally, the role requires maintaining trade-related equipment, organizing academic and co-curricular events, and preparing reports for both the Technical Education Board and MSS management, while ensuring continuous alignment with industry demand and competency-based training standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student admission processes in accordance with institutional policies and guidelines.
Prepare all instructional materials including course modules, lesson plans, job sheets, handbooks, and exam question papers.
Deliver both theoretical and practical training sessions as per syllabus, course materials, and academic schedules.
Conduct assessments, including pre-tests and final examinations, and evaluate student performance.
Coordinate with the Technical Education Board and other authorities to ensure proper examination and evaluation procedures.
Facilitate industrial attachments and organize industry site visits for students.
Maintain all relevant documentation, such as student bio data, base registers, lesson plan records, notices, and attendance logs.
Implement interventions to prevent student dropouts, including home visits and counseling sessions for students and guardians.
Prepare requisitions for trade-related equipment, tools, and machinery; ensure proper maintenance of stock registers.
Organize special observances and events such as Teacher-Guardian Day, Falgun Fair, and student exhibitions.
Prepare and submit reports as required by the Technical Education Board and MSS management.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the authority.
A 4-year Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology from a Polytechnic Institute recognized by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
Candidates with a third division/class or equivalent at any stage of their academic career are not eligible.
Preference will be given to candidates who have practical training experience from Competency-Based Training (CBT) programs, aligned with market demand and labor analysis.
