Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Summary: The Inspirator will be based partly in the ActionAid country office in the capital city of Dhaka and partly in the project locations in rural settings outside Dhaka. While at the project locations, s/he will be working closely with the partner organization's staff and will be required to visit ActionAid country office to document and consolidate the work, and to report progress, lessons and share the follow up plans.
∎ The Inspirator is expected to support in enhancing knowledge of the partner organisation's staff and youth volunteers on participatory democracy, social cohesion and youth participation in the decision-making structures. S/he will have to develop capacity of partner organisations' staff and young volunteers on advocacy, communication and leadership to accelerate the activism for promotion of social cohesion and peaceful coexistence, and for youth representation at local and national level decision-making structures. S/he is supposed to enhance skills of partners' staff and youth group members on providing support to youth-led or youth-focused organisations on the issues of organisation development and enhancing relevant coalitions for the cause.
∎ The Inspirator will support the youth groups and youth-led or youth-focused organisations in the peer learning process to progressively improve their interventions. S/he is expected to motivate youth community and liaise with local and national level youth platforms, associations, youth-related government agencies and CSOs. S/he will enhance skills of the partner organisations in reporting, documentation and knowledge management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferable - Knowledge on democratic culture, social cohesion, pluralism
∎ Minimum 1 year of professional experience preferably around youth work, particularly in the areas of volunteer management, knowledge management and communication.
Salary:
∎ BDT. 44226 whereas Per Diems Monthly: BDT. 19201 and Accommodation: BDT. 25025. Moreover, Group Life Insurance will be covered.
