∎ Location of posting: Dhaka, Kustia and Nilphamari (Placement will be on partner level and Dhaka Office)
∎ Types of contract: Contractual
∎ Duration: Up to December 2020 (With possibility of further extension depending on fund availability)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with local partners and Activista
∎
∎ Conduct capacity needs assessment with the partner staff and youth volunteers.
∎ Work with GPB for contextualisation of the content and training manual.
∎ Facilitate discussions with the partner organisation staff and young volunteers on participatory democracy and social cohesion.
∎ Work with the partner staff and key youth volunteers to identify the tools for context analysis.
∎ Work with the partner staff and key youth volunteer for analysing relevant areas.
∎ Work with the partner staff and youth volunteers on how to facilitate inter-generational dialogue, what are the contextualised issues to be taken up and how to work on these.
∎ Support the partners in capturing and disseminating changes stories.
∎ Support the young people to monitor electoral commitments.
∎ Work with the key youth volunteer to develop demand charter.
∎ Support to the youth people and their platforms to submit the demand charter to the political parties, electoral candidates etc.
∎ Work with the youth platforms and networking
∎
∎ Work with the national level Activista to develop them on participatory democracy and social cohesion.
∎ Support National Activista and partners in identifying existing networks and alliances working for youth participation and representation in decision making structures
∎ Support youth platforms and networks/Activista/volunteers to be active in networks and platforms
∎ Facilitate Activista to establish linkages with like-minded youth platforms.
∎ Support the process to connect young people with national and international advocacy platforms and campaigns.
∎ Work with Global Platform Bangladesh and A4I project
∎
∎ Work with A4I team and GPB to address the capacity development needs identified through context analysis and capacity need assessment process.
∎ Individual competence development
∎
∎ Hands on engagement with the project and partner level activities.
∎ Engage in developing module, guidelines and knowledge product.
∎ Engaging with the various ICT based tools to generate knowledge and share across the level.
∎ Engage in the sharing session with the Astivista and Youth Volunteers.
∎ Engage in learning networks with other Inspirators and Advisors in Bangladesh and abroad (online).
∎ Take online courses as relevant, e.g. provided by AA through the Learning Site
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferable - Knowledge on democratic culture, social cohesion, pluralism
∎ Minimum 1 year of professional experience preferably around youth work, particularly in the areas of volunteer management, knowledge management and communication.
∎ Good command in Bangla and English

Salary:
∎ Tk. 44226 (Monthly)
∎ Whereas Per Diems Monthly: BDT. 19201 and Accommodation: BDT. 25025.
