Job Context:
∎ Project: Action for Impact (A4I)
∎ Unit: Young People
∎ Location of posting: Dhaka, Chittagong and Sathkhira (Placement will be on partner level and Dhaka Office)
∎ Types of contract: Contractual
∎ Duration of Contract: Up to December 2021
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with local partners and young activists
∎
∎ Facilitate session and discussion with the organizational staff and the young people;
∎ Support to the organization staff and young people to communicate with local level government and private agencies (boundary partners) for increasing TVET opportunities for youth;
∎ Support the partner staff and young people to facilitate advocacy and campaign on EO&DW;
∎ Share diversified experience with the partner staff and key youth volunteers;
∎ Engagement with the partner staff and community and community youth to analyze the EO&DW context;
∎ Work with the partner, community and young people to document change stories and develop Inspirator's newsletter.
∎ Work with the National Level Activista and Linkage with youth networks
∎
∎ Facilitate capacity develop session on economic opportunities and decent work with the Activista members;
∎ Work with the Activista at national level for identifying potential networks and platforms;
∎ Work with local level youth volunteers and networks to the youth platforms, employee associations and networks.
∎ Individual competence development
∎
∎ Work with the project staff and GP on how to develop guideline;
∎ Participate in developing, reviewing various project guidelines and knowledge product;
∎ Engage in learning networks with other Inspirators and Advisors in Bangladesh and abroad (online);
∎ Take online courses as relevant, e.g. provided by AA through the Learning Site.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferable - Knowledge on the Economic opportunity and decent work issue.
∎ Minimum 1 year of professional experience preferably around youth work, particularly in the areas of volunteer management, knowledge management and communication.
∎ Good command in Bangla and English
∎ Knowledge and skill on context analyse and capacity assessment
∎ Facilitation skill to develop capacity for the youth volunteers and partners
∎ Able to coordinate among the partners, youth related networks and multi-level stakeholders
∎ Experience of mobilizing youth and youth platform and networks
∎ Communication skill to communicate with various actors
∎ Skilled on knowledge management process
∎ Experience on working with economic opportunity and decent work agenda for youth.
Salary:
∎ BDT. 44226 whereas Per Diems Monthly: BDT. 19201 and Accommodation: BDT. 25025.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Moreover, Group Life Insurance and Medical Allowance will be covered.
