Job Context:
∎ ActionAid Bangladesh is looking for suitable candidate for the following position:
∎ Project: Action4Transformation (A4T): Youth for rights, resilience and redistribution in fragile context
∎ Unit: Young People
∎ Location of posting: Placement will be at in the partner organisation (Bagerhat) initially for two months and then roving according to organisational requirements.
∎ Types of contract: Contractual
∎ Duration: Up to 15 May 2024
∎ Job Summary:
∎ The Inspirator position considered as youth professional and practitioner with relevant working experience with young people, youth leadership, creative activism and movement building. S/he should be strong networker, facilitator, coach and co-creator of organising, movement building and creative activism activities.
∎ This position will be based in the partner organization at Bagerhat initially for two months and then roving according to organizational requirements. At the project locations, s/he will be working closely with the hoisting organization staff and key youth volunteers and will be required to visit ActionAid Bangladesh Country Office to document and consolidate the work and to report progress, share lessons learnt and follow up plans.
∎ The Inspirator is expected to develop capacity of young men and women on democratic space and gender responsive public service as well as public service accountability of the team members of partner organization and local level Activista members. S/he is supposed to support strengthening capacity of the partner organization to implement their strategies (advocacy and campaign) on thematic areas. S/he will have to enhance the skill of the partner organization and Activista members to work closely with the grassroots community, capturing grassroots voices and documentation of change stories.
∎ The Inspirator will motivate and develop the skills of the local level youth Activista to maintain communication and linkage with local and national level youth platforms, association, and youth related government agencies and CSOs.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Allowance: BDT. 47,752 whereas Living Allowance Monthly: BDT. 20,352; Accommodation: BDT. 26,400 and Support for data cards: BDT. 1,000. Moreover, Group Life Insurance and Medical Benefit will be covered.
