Responsibilities & Context:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information and guidance to prospective and enrolled students regarding programmes, progression routes, academic expectations, and institutional policies

  • Offer one-to-one advice and guidance sessions to support students with academic, personal, or wellbeing-related concerns

  • Act as a first point of contact for welfare matters and refer students to appropriate internal or external support services when required

  • Monitor student engagement and attendance, identifying early signs of risk and escalating concerns in line with institutional procedures

  • Maintain confidential student welfare records in accordance with data protection and safeguarding requirements

  • Support induction activities, orientation programmes, and student awareness sessions

  • Work closely with Academic, Admissions, Compliance, and Administrative teams to ensure coordinated student support

  • Contribute to student retention strategies and ongoing student support initiatives

  • Provide guidance on reasonable adjustments and inclusive support where appropriate

  • Assist with compliance-related reporting and documentation linked to student welfare and support
