Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Business Management or a related field from a recognised institution in the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada
Minimum 3+ years of teaching or relevant industry experience in Business Management or a related discipline
Experience in curriculum development and student assessment practices
Exposure to international academic environments is desirable

Job Purpose
The Lecturer in Business Management is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting student learning, and contributing to the academic development of Essex School of Business. The role involves designing and delivering engaging course content, maintaining academic standards, and fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The Lecturer will also contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic quality assurance processes in line with international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning Delivery
Plan and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops in Business Management and related disciplines using innovative teaching methods.
Curriculum Development
Contribute to the design, review, and enhancement of course materials to ensure relevance, rigour, and alignment with global standards.
Student Support & Engagement
Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support to students to enhance their learning experience and outcomes.
Assessment & Evaluation
Develop and mark assessments, provide constructive feedback, and ensure fair and transparent evaluation processes.
Academic Quality Assurance
Adhere to institutional policies and maintain academic integrity and quality standards.
Research & Professional Development
Engage in research, scholarly activities, and continuous professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Administrative Responsibilities
