Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Skill & Capacity Building Expert to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and capacity-building initiatives across various sectors. 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other research methods.
  • Evaluate the data to understand the skills gaps and capacity-building requirements. Develop comprehensive training programs and capacity-building initiatives that align with the needs assessment.
  • Create detailed curricula, including training materials, manuals, and e-learning content. Identify and allocate the necessary resources, such as trainers, materials, and technology.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, seminars, and other educational events. Coordinate with trainers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
  • Manage the logistical aspects of training programs, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communications.
  • Create tools and methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Regularly assess the impact of training sessions through feedback forms, tests, and performance evaluations.
  • Analyze evaluation results to determine the success of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop long-term capacity-building strategies to ensure sustained improvement in skills and competencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external training providers, educational institutions, and other relevant organizations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization. Keep detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and outcomes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on training and capacity-building activities to stakeholders and management.
  • Provide expert advice on training and development strategies to senior management and other departments.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in training and capacity building.
  • Develop and manage the budget for training and capacity-building programs.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure they remain within budget and deliver value for money.
