Handle the booking, reservation, and issuance of domestic and international air tickets.
Search and recommend suitable flight options based on clients’ preferred routes, travel dates, budgets, and schedules.
Manage flight reissuance, date changes, rerouting, cancellations, and refund requests in accordance with airline policies.
Accurately calculate airfares, taxes, penalties, fare differences, and applicable service charges.
Provide clients with clear and up-to-date information regarding airline fares, baggage allowances, transit requirements, flight schedules, and travel policies.
Create and manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) using GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
Verify passenger details, passport information, travel dates, and ticketing requirements before issuing tickets.
Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and other travel service providers to resolve booking and ticketing-related issues.
Monitor flight schedule changes, cancellations, and operational updates and communicate them to clients promptly.
Provide professional customer support through phone calls, email, social media, and in-person communication.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, issued tickets, payments, refunds, and daily sales transactions.
Prepare daily ticketing, sales, and transaction reports for management.
Ensure all ticketing activities comply with airline regulations, fare rules, company policies, and industry standards.
Support clients with seat selection, meal requests, special assistance, and other airline-related services.
Perform all daily ticketing and reservation activities accurately, efficiently, and within the required timeframe.
Knowledge of IATA ticketing procedures, airline reservation systems, or Travel and Tourism operations.
Practical knowledge of domestic and international airline ticketing is preferred.
Experience using Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or any other GDS platform will be given priority.
Understanding of airline fare rules, ticket reissuance, refunds, cancellations, and reservation procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, airlines, and business partners.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to process passenger and booking information accurately.
Ability to manage multiple bookings, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally.
Prior experience in an airline, travel agency, tour operator, or ticketing department will be preferred.
