Education
• Essential education in Bachelor in Social Science, Communication/Journalism or Medical/Paramedical with strong focus on health messaging blended with digitalized methods.
• Essential education/experience in graphic design, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
Experience
• Practical experience in graphic design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, audio/video editing) blended into community health/Digital Health Promotion (DHP).
• Strong coordination skills, team leadership, and inventory management skills;
• Preferable: Survey/data tools (KoboToolbox/Google Forms for pre-testing; Excel/Power BI for reporting).
Language
• Fluency in Written and spoken English essential.
• Spoken Chittagonian and Rohingya are essential.
Knowledge
• Computer literacy, graphic design, Adobe Illustrator: all incorporated into health messaging.
• Inform patients and communities about MSF and services it provides.
• According to medical priorities, deliver information to the patients and community on specific health topics
• Implement activities of health education and awareness under the indications and supervision of the HPCE Manager.
• Under the guide of HPCE Manager, assess the impact of activities (with questions, verifications and behaviors observations), and report problems, success and constraints to him/her.
• Collect all type of information related to specific health and living conditions of the population, in particular to identify the most vulnerable populations to target.
• Participate in creation of any material needed for the activities of information, education and communication.

General Health Promotion:
• Development of audience-specific health promotion and community engagement contents/ materials with specific focus on SGBV/SRH, mental health, hygiene, Gender Diverse Population, child and adolescent health
with the support of HPAM/Dep MTL/Supervisors or Managers from relevant departments to raise awareness in the community as well as in Balukhali SOPD.
• According to medical priorities and contextual justification, support the revision of existing and development of new IEC materials (acceptance, relevance, usability, physical condition) with diversification of the topic, delivery methods and key messages before application in the community with support of HP supervisors.
• Being responsible for all IEC materials, development of IEC “toolbox”, to ensure soft copies of all approved materials are easily accessible by department managers and supervisors. Keeping updated record on existing IEC materials (hard copies).
• Support HP supervisors and HPAM on the training and implementation of approved IEC materials for Community Health Workers (CHWs including CBC).
• Conduct routine supportive supervision and provide technical support to CHWs, to ensure proper use of IEC materials and methods.
• Collaborate with HP Supervisors to inspire CHWs to use creative and active presentation methods such as debates, role-plays, storytelling, songs, quiz, drawing sessions etc.
• Support HP Supervisor and HP Activity Manager in building two-way communication process through organizing focus-group discussions, patient satisfaction survey, interviews, surveys, and other relevant community dialogues.
• Participate in field visitis in collaboration with the respective HP Supervisor assigned to respective geo-locations for outreach activities to evaluate in the potential of specific outdoor community engaging activity other than HP sessions.
Digital Health Promotion
• In collaboration with the technical experts and HP Activity Manager/supervisors support development of DHP ideas (drama, role-plays, songs, animations, posters, storyboards, rhyme) and production using tools like Canva/Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for low-literacy animations/videos.
• Receive training and briefing regarding the DHP-wise operation of the social media that will be used as media (Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, Imo). Act as a critical analyzer of the community culture, concern and consent .
• Analyze community culture, concerns, and consent; provide suggestions to graphics designers during content creation.
• Develop/translate FAQs on services, SRH, SGBV, gender-diverse populations, mental health, vaccination, child/adolescent health; share with supervisors/HPAM.
• Prepare/conduct pre-testing questionnaires per DHP guide; perform primary evaluation for community/contextual appropriateness.
• Ensure digital materials meet privacy/accessibility standards (e.g., no personal data, audio descriptions, simple Rohingya/Chittagonian visuals); monitor performance via analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights for engagement/reach/feedback).
Activity room :
• Provide technical oversight to Activity Room Supervisor: review and submit to HPAM session plans, ensure IEC material adherence, and integrate multidisciplinary inputs (SRH/SGBV, MH, vaccination).
• Review and submit to HPAM weekly/monthly reports, satisfaction surveys, and referrals from Activity Room done by the activity room supervisor.
• Conduct joint field visits/stakeholder liaisons (Imams, majhis) to support community mobilization and trust-building.
• Monitor supplies and inventory done by activity room supervisor; authorize and submit requests to prevent disruptions.
• Evaluate session quality (excluding MHPSS); coach on creative methods (role-plays, quizzes) and safeguarding/patient charter compliance.
• Analyze health trends from room data (e.g., vaccination gaps, incidents); escalate to medical teams.
• Maintain confedentiality all the time.
Training and Capacity Building
• Train the CHWs, Activity Room staff, and supervisors on IEC use, digital tools, and interactive facilitation.
• Facilitate cross-departmental workshops on messaging alignment.

Contract and Benefit This is a Temporary contract position for 8 months. Salary according to level Five (Level 5) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 68,500 Gross). Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for
employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Recruited Staff. Others There are no provisions for relocation.
