Responsibilities & Context:
Job Description:
The "Head of Sales & Marketing (DGM/GM)" position is responsible for planning and implementing sales, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through team members:
To lead, mentor and manage the nationwide sales team
To develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and market share
To oversee and optimise distribution networks across modern retails (supermarkets, chain stores, e-commerce) and traditional retails (general stores, distributors etc.)
To observe market trends, competitors' activities and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and threats
To coordinate with marketing department on product launching, promotional campaigns and brand building initiatives
To manage sales budget, control costs and ensure efficient resource allocation
Job Specifications:
Post graduate from any reputed college or university.
Minimum 10 years of related job experience, including at least 3 years as HOD Sales of reputed FMCG company
Strong understanding of Bangladeshi FMCG market.
Should be physically & mentally fit to carry out extensive field tour.
