∎ VisionSpring, an international social enterprise, seeks a Head of Sales to develop new customer relationships and drive the business growth of the business across various market sectors. While the Head of Sales will pursue sales directly by approaching hospitals, eye hospitals, Pharmacies, clinics, NGOs, and other healthcare providers, s/he also will increase the depth and breadth of eyeglass distribution channels by growing a national network of channel partners across many sectors, soliciting CSR and government funding, uncovering untapped customer demand for eyeglasses, and working with partners that serve low-income communities. The successful candidate will report to the Country Director who is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

∎ WHAT WE EXPECT YOU WILL DO?
∎ Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing sales and marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
∎ Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing an annual sales plan for each territory projecting expected sales volume and profit. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by winning new and repeat orders.
∎ Grow and manage the channel partner network. Use your creativity to find new paths, and expand existing ones, to bring eyeglasses to our target population.
∎ Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow partnerships with hospitals (government, mission, and private); clinics; NGOs; pharmacies and other health service providers that offer or want to offer eyecare services. Assist them in introducing or expanding their optical services.
∎ Proactively involve in project cycle management for different types of clients that needs attention and different types of marketing strategies and communication.
∎ Support to the partner in analyzing their pharmacies as a business and have a client centered approach.
∎ Contact and consistently follow up with existing and new accounts; deliver the highest levels of customer service and engagement.
∎ Explore the possibility of expanding into mass market retail channels that serve our target population.
∎ Represent VisionSpring at local industry forums and in peer groups. Attending educational and market development events, such as partner workshops, seminars, conferences, trainings, etc.
∎ Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping up to date with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
∎ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
∎ Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
∎ Provide daily report of sales success and communicate superiors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience with B2B and/or B2C retail experience.
∎ Proven ability to quickly establish trust and credibility, and forge and maintain close relationships with diverse groups.
∎ Willing to travel and stay in remote rural areas.
∎ Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
∎ Other preferred and beneficial experience: (1) History with and/or commitment to community service, social enterprise, and social impact work; (2) Living or working in remote rural areas; (3) Sector experience in optical, health, pharmaceuticals, hospitals.
